Play’n GO Inks Deal with Caesars Entertainment for US and Ontario Launch
Swedish online casino developer Play’n GO has announced that it has partnered with casino operator Caesars Entertainment, launching in the US and Ontario.
As part of the collaboration, a selection of Play’n GO-developed titles such as Buildin’ Bucks, Piggy Blitz, and Reactoonzwill be available across Caesars platforms, including Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, Caesars Palace Online Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino.
The titles will be available to Caesars users in Ontario, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, with a further launch in West Virginia planned in the coming months.
Following the collaboration, Play’n GO is now licensed in six US states, a significant milestone for the group’s global expansion plans. “The Caesars brand is synonymous with world-class gaming and entertainment in North America, and it’s an exciting time for our business to announce this partnership. Our mutual commitment to high-quality entertainment and responsible gaming makes them the perfect partner for us as we mark this latest milestone on our U.S. journey,” said Anna Machney, Head of Regional Sales US at Play’n GO.
Ontario Approves Zoning Order for New Casino
A minister’s zoning order (MZO) has been approved by Ontario’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing for a casino proposal in Innisfil.
The decision was approved on July 17 and gives way to a gaming facility operated by Gateway Casinos. The facility is planned to be built on 10.2 hectares of land that used to belong to the former Innisfil Creek Golf Course.
“The Town of Innisfil was pleased to hear that Gateway Casinos Innisfil has been granted a minister’s zoning order to proceed with the development of their new facility,” town communications manager Jane Cocking said in an email to OrilliaMatters.com. “We know this new development will bring employment opportunities to the area as well as boost tourism.”
The British Columbia-based casino operator currently owns 31 casinos across Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. In recent weeks, Gateway Casinos announced plans to build a new casino in Sudbury, Ontario.
The rezoning order will not affect the group’s current revenue-sharing agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
