High Roller Partners with Xpoint in Ontario
Online casino operator High Roller Technologies has announced that it is partnering with geolocation technology provider Xpoint ahead of its anticipated launch in Ontario.
Xpoint will provide High Roller with its geolocation and anti-fraud services to help the group meet Ontario’s compliance standards. The services will also be integrated into Playtech’s platform, powering High Roller’s casino brands High Roller and Fruta.
“We are committed to operating a premium product in the market and Xpoint’s technology is best-in-class. Xpoint’s commitment to serving and innovating within the gaming industry is impressive, and we’re thrilled to partner with them as we work towards our launch in Ontario,” said Ben Clemes, CEO of High Roller Technologies.
High Roller applied for an Ontario license in May, citing the province’s growing regulated market as a reason for expanding. It also expects to launch in Ontario in the second half of 2025.

Pragmatic Play Expands Ontario Presence with Bet99 Partnership
Online slot developer Pragmatic Play has partnered with Canadian online gaming operator Bet99 to deliver its portfolio of live casino titles to residents in Ontario.
Players on Bet99 will now have access to a range of Pragmatic Play games, including roulette, auto mega roulette, speed roulette, speed baccarat, and blackjack.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa Reveals Opening Date of July 3
Casino operator Hard Rock International has announced that its latest casino venture in Canada will open on July 3.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ottawa will open its doors to guests with a revamped gaming floor, featuring 1500 slot machines and 40 gaming tables, 10 restaurants, a Hard Rock Live entertainment venue, and a hotel featuring up to 150 guest rooms.
The new Hard Rock venue was first announced in 2017 and will become Hard Rock’s first casino resort in Canada. The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation will also regulate it.
“Ottawa is a milestone moment for us. It’s our first fully integrated resort in Canada and a key step in our global growth strategy,” said Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International. “This property will not only attract international visitors but also support the local economy and enhance the region’s entertainment offerings.”
